What is a firestop clash?
A firestop clash is a unique clash position in BIM and occurs when a building element, such as a pipe, cable, or duct, passes through a fire-rated barrier. In these cases, a firestop solution is needed to maintain the structure’s fire-resistance and ensure it meets safety regulations.
What if I exceed my monthly firestop clash credit?
If you exceed the monthly credit for automatically identifying unique firestop clash positions, you won’t be able to use the BIM clash engine for the remainder of that month. However, you can always top up your clash credits at any time! Exceeding the clash credit is only allowed once per month. We also track the total annual clash credit. If you exceed the annual clash credit limit, you’ll need to purchase additional credits to continue using the clash engine.
How do I upgrade my monthly clash credit?
Every Admin user of your company can upgrade the monthly clash credit. The Admin user needs to login to the Orange Button Dashboard and upgrade the license in the ‘Contracts’ tab.
