BIM Content Creator
As a BIM content creator you’ll be responsible for designing and creating BIM objects. You’re familiar with BIM and can navigate your way through a program like Revit. The ideal candidate is driven to enhance analytics, thrives on collaborating with suppliers, and cherish positive relationships with colleagues. This position also offers opportunities for advancement to the role of BIM Consultant.
As a BIM content creator, you already have developed BIM skills but will undergo training to develop your knowledge in specific trades. You will work alongside – and learn from – some of the best BIM engineers in the Netherlands at our Orange Button BIM center. Content at Orange Button needs to integrate seamlessly with our software, giving you an extra challenge to bring your skills to the next level! What do we ask?
- Several years BIM experience
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit
- Full-time availability
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- You are analytical, precise and structured
What will be your tasks?
- Model Creation: Creating 3D models of building products and components using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit.
- Detailing: Ensuring that the models are accurately detailed to optimize the balance between a real-world representation and performance.
- Parameterization: Adding metadata and parameters to the models, such as cost, manufacturer information, performance data, and other relevant attributes.
- Standardization: Ensuring that the BIM content complies with industry standards and best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Reviewing and testing the BIM content to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compatibility with our software platforms.
- Collaboration: Working closely with our team, contractors, and manufacturers to understand their needs and requirements for BIM content.
- Documentation: Creating documentation and instructions for using the BIM content effectively.
- Updates and Maintenance: Updating and maintaining existing BIM content to reflect changes in products, standards, or software requirements.
